St Paul of the Servites
Remains of the cross-shaped church of St Paul of the Servite monastery have recently been identified, incorporated into later buildings. The church is depicted on a map by R. Werdmüller, to the south of the metropolitan church of St Minas. It may be identified with the church built outside the old walls in 1346 by Andrea Dandolo, which housed the family mausoleum. The arcaded galleries of the cloister survive almost intact, as does the vaulted southern arm of the transept, first noted by G. Gerola.
