7, Korai Street

The building is two storeys high and covered by a timber roof with clay tiles. The ground floor is constructed in rubble stone masonry, while the upper floor is of timber-lath and plaster (çatma) construction, incorporating an enclosed projecting bay (sachnisi), a characteristic feature of Balkan domestic architecture. At first-floor level a small, recessed veranda is preserved, most probably resulting from the later formation of the internal courtyard.

The structure is distinguished by its formal restraint and balanced volumetric composition. The frames of the first-floor openings, the corner pilasters of the projecting bay, the decorative horizontal bands, and the cornice beneath the eaves are executed in timber and adopt morphological features derived from Neoclassical architecture.
