25th August Martyrs Avenue & Epimenidou Street
A three-storey corner building whose façades are articulated in accordance with the principles of late Neoclassicism. The individual architectural and morphological elements lend the structure a sense of restraint and refined aesthetic quality. The façade displays the characteristic tripartite division and a strict symmetry of openings in relation to the principal vertical and horizontal axes. The ground floor is raised, thereby accentuating the building’s base. The main body is defined by large pseudo-pilasters, while the crowning elements take the form of pedimented terminations. Particularly distinctive is the resolution of the corner through a curved treatment, emphasised by a curved balcony at first-floor level.
