14, 25th August Martyrs Avenue

A magnificent three-storey stone-built structure, a characteristic example of Eclecticism incorporating elements of late Neoclassicism. Shops occupied the ground floor, while the upper storeys were residential. The façade is vertically articulated into three sections, consistently organised along strict axes of symmetry. A wide variety of individual architectural elements is employed, producing a composition that is engaging yet visually dynamic.

A notable feature is the diametrical arrangement of balconies: in the two lateral sections, small balconies are placed beneath larger ones, while the opposite arrangement occurs in the central section. All upper-floor openings are paired, with each twin opening unified through the use of piers. These pilasters are crowned with Ionic pilaster capitals on the first floor, simple pilaster capitals on the second, and support small entablatures. The central section of the building is articulated in a more restrained manner.
