Averof & Zografou Streets

The building was constructed by Emmanouel Logiadis in the early 20th century, to designs by the architect Dimitrios Kyriakòs. The absolute symmetry of the principal façade is emphasised by the treatment of the central section, which projects forward and is crowned by a pediment. Along the central vertical axis lies the doorway of the main entrance, while at first-floor level a recess and a small balcony are formed.

On the ground floor, Doric columns support the entablature, while on the upper floor Ionic columns carry the architrave. The first-floor windows are framed with moulded render and decorated with rosettes on the panels, whereas at ground level the façade is articulated by horizontal grooves.
