25th August Martyrs Avenue & Koronaiou Street
The building is of particular architectural and morphological interest and represents a notable example of early twentieth-century Eclecticism. It was constructed in 1911 to designs by the architect Dimitrios Kyriakòs. Comprising a ground floor and two upper storeys, it forms a curved corner at the junction of 25th August Martyrs Avenue and Koronaiou Street.
The ground floor, articulated with rendered imitation horizontal coursing enhanced by shadow grooves, functions as the base of the composition, while the two upper floors, unified by large pilasters, form the main body. Balconies with decorated railings, columns, pilasters, pediments, dentil bands, and terracotta balusters are arranged symmetrically across the façades, creating a composition of considerable visual interest and refinement.
